Exhibition ‘SEEN FROM SPACE’ in Brest, Britanny (FR) open to the public ’till October 2021
The exhibition SEEN FROM SPACE invites you to a unique journey in Brittany through exceptional Copernicys images obtained by Earth observation satellites.
The exhibition is open to the public now until October displayed in the garden of the scientific aquarium Oceanopolis (Brest, Brittany (NEREUS full member)).
What is about
These satellites are bearing sensors able to provide different kind of images from our planet. These snapshots reveal a reality that is difficult for the human eye to appreciate. The optical sensors capture moments similar to photographs, but allow us to see beyond the visible. Obtained by radar sensors, black and white prints reveal differences in texture on the surface of the globe. These particular sensors can acquire images through clouds, day and night.
