Webinar: Defence and Security collaboration between Turkey and the UK

This webinar will serve a dual purpose, reinforcing UK-Turkey defence and security collaboration by inviting UK and Turkish defence and security companies. We aim to map out the defence-business landscape in the UK and Turkey, outlining key opportunities for both British and Turkish businesses.

The joint virtual event will be beneficial for the Turkish-British partnership for two principal reasons. First, as two non-EU NATO chairs, Turkey and the UK share strategic interests that can shape the Euro-Atlantic security architecture. Second, compared to continental Europe, Ankara and London’s business practices exhibit significant overlaps, indicating high compatibility between the countries. These similarities create a lucrative business environment and foster synergy between the Turkish and British defence ecosystems.

The webinar will feature discussions from various UK and Turkish government and industry perspectives, including the British Embassy Ankara, the House of Lords, and Ambassador Tacan Ildem. Additionally, with SAHA Expo 2024 scheduled for October, this webinar will offer further details about the event and what attendees can expect, providing an opportunity to pose questions to both ADS and SAHA organisers, as well as the other guest speakers.
