Webinar series: Balancing capability and sustainability in defence – NPF Sustainable Futures Series

Webinar series: Balancing capability and sustainability in defence – NPF Sustainable Futures Series

Join us for an engaging 3-part series from the New Professionals Forum (NPF) that delves into the realm of sustainability in defence, examining it from three distinct perspectives: policy, company, and individual. These sessions are being delivered in collaboration with the External Sustainability Working Group (ESWG) to offer valuable insights into how sustainability is becoming integral to defence capabilities and how you can be part of this exciting transformation.

Join us in this first session to explore the vital role the defence industry plays in the UK’s security, prosperity and stability while committing to a sustainable future.

We will be focusing on the UK Defence ESG Charter, a collaborative effort within the sector. Launched earlier this year, the Charter is designed to drive ambition and action on sustainability. We are thrilled to be joined by ADS Chief Economist, Aimie Stone, who will be discussing the objectives of the Charter. We are also pleased to welcome Dr Deborah Allen, Group Director of Climate, Environment & Infrastructure at BAE Systems, to outline why BAE Systems are a signatory of the Charter and how they are improving capability whilst becoming more sustainable.

We value your participation! Time at the end of the session will be dedicated to an engaging audience Q&A, where you can interact with our esteemed speakers and gain further insights.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to explore the intersection of capability and sustainability in the UK defence sector. Register now to secure your spot at this thought-provoking event!
