ABOUT UKROC<\/span><\/h3>\n

The UK Youth Rocketry Challenge (UKROC) is a national competition for young people aged 11 \u2013 18 from any secondary schools, colleges, educational facilities or youth groups to design, build and launch a model rocket with a fragile payload (usually one raw egg). The competition is designed to encourage creativity, innovative thinking and appeal to young people interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) and inspire them to consider fascinating careers in the aerospace, defence and space industries. Following a UK national final, the competition culminates in an international final held at either Farnborough International Airshow or Paris Airshow with the winning UK team competing against teams from the United States, Japan, and France.<\/span><\/p>\n

ADS is the proud organiser of the UK Youth Rocketry Challenge (UKROC) and has been running the event annually since 2006.\u00a0 <\/span>ADS Chief Executive, Kevin Craven said: <\/span>
