Join this free-to-participate<\/strong> webinar which is open to both EGADD members and non-members who would like to have a better understanding of how to comply with international sanctions regimes.<\/p>\n

The Export Group for Aerospace, Defence & Dual-Use<\/a><\/strong> is organising a final webinar for 2023, to build on the success of previous such events covering \u201cExport Controls & \u2018Cloud Computing\u2019\u201d (30 March) and \u201cUS Export Controls \u2013 Keeping Pace with Rapid Developments\u201d (21 September), the Annual Main Meeting (9 October), as well as previous events, with this one due to be focused on the increasingly important subject of Sanctions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Unlike other events, which often focus on particular and specific sanctions regimes on particular nations, this webinar will concentrate on practical aspects and challenges confronting companies and other organisations when they are seeking to manage the inherent risks associated with sanctions, be they trade or financial.<\/p>\n

Amongst the specific topics to be covered:<\/p>\n

What due diligence needs to be undertaken
\nWhat is regarded as being adequate in this context
\nWhat best practice in this area might look like
\nPractical lessons that have been learnt by companies<\/p>\n

This webinar is not intended to be a legal update on current sanctions but instead an opportunity to explore the key ingredients for an effective sanctions compliance programme, along with sharing some practical real life examples of industry best practice. The webinar will also focus on the necessary partnership between the UK Government Regulators and Industry in relation to enforcement.<\/p>\n
