ADS Group and the Export Group for Aerospace & Defence (EGADD) are hosting a free-to-attend webinar to provide an update on where the UK stands, focused on the proposed export control aspects of the AUKUS initiative, in general, and the implementation and usage of the 126.7 ITAR Exemption<\/strong>,<\/a> in particular. <\/span>The webinar will particularly focus on the latest state of play vis-\u00e0-vis the Authorised User Community, as well as on the practical experiences of those UK entities who have been granted AUC status in their efforts to use the changes, both in terms of the usage of the ITAR Exemption and also the accompanying Open General Licence.<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

This webinar is open to any UK entities who may be interested in this important topic, which represents a potentially huge seismic change in the way that export controls work internationally.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This will be the latest engagement opportunity for industry to meet with and hear from senior UK government officials on the export control proposals to deliver AUKUS following the much-anticipated finalisation of the proposals, which took place in mid-August 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n
