Forests are an important cultural, social and environmental feature of Europe. While they suffer from the consequences of the
\nclimate crisis, at the same time they have the potential to contribute to a better resilience to climate change. Forests and the
\nforest-based sector form an integral part of the EC\u2019s long-term vision of the Green Deal and the new EU Forest Strategy post
\n2020 is one of the concrete actions planned under this umbrella. European regions will be key actors in the implementation
\nof the strategy to better preserve and grow Europe\u2019s forests.<\/p>\n

About the<\/strong> Copernicus4regions webinars<\/strong><\/p>\n

In these 5 targeted webinars, representatives of regional administrations, public users, regional stakeholders, politicians, EU representatives, and other interested stakeholders will engage in an online discussion on the dimension of Copernicus for the green and digital transition in Europe.<\/strong> Copernicus users will share their experiences:<\/p>\n

how Public Administrations in Europe have successfully incorporated the use of Copernicus into their organisations and workflows;
\nwhat are the benefits for their territories and public policies and the outlook to the future;
\nand eventually why Copernicus is a game-changer in the development of sustainable practices and better public policies.<\/p>\n
