We are happy to announce that\u00a0iGEO Irish Geology, Environmental & Ocean Sciences Early Career Symposium<\/strong>\u00a0is back and is being planned for June 2022. <\/p>\n

We are delighted to invite you to this event organized by early career geoscientists<\/strong> (ECGs) for ECGs<\/strong> is open to all ECGs working within academia, industry and government. This 2 day event will be an in-person event and held for the first time at University College Cork (UCC).\u00a0<\/p>\n

While focusing on the most important issues directly affecting, and identified by ECGs<\/strong>, iGEO2022 is unique in this respect \u2013 a dedicated event organized by, and for, early-career geoscientists in Irish geoscience<\/em>. <\/p>\n

This is an opportunity to collaborate and benefit from the multidisciplinary nature of research across Ireland.<\/p>\n

We would love to get your opinion\u00a0on what you would like to see in iGEO2022 \u2013 now is the time to lobby for Earth Observation applications<\/strong>. Below is a link to a quick survey on this. It will also offer you the opportunity to sign up to the dedicated mailing list for this event.<\/p>\n

You would engage with academics and professionals, learn about latest trends and technologies in STEM, meet potential employers, promote yourselves and network with peers.<\/p>\n

You would also engage like in a \u201ccareer fair\u201d, avail of workshops on soft skills and give lightning talks, apply in practice in presentation and communication skills, initiate collaborations.<\/p>\n
