The quality of urban life and the functioning of the city depends on the quality with which the cities are shaped, restructured and transformed toward a sustainable city. One attractive and efficient way to guide this transformation is by developing urban green places which will mitigate the effects of climate change helping cities to become more resilient to be able to tackle these challenges. Green infrastructure such as urban parks are critical components of urban sustainability and resilience. Urban Green encompasses places with \u2018natural surfaces\u2019 or \u2018natural settings\u2019, but may also include specific types of urban greenery, such as street trees, and may also include \u2018blue space\u2019 which represents water elements ranging from ponds to coastal zones.
