NEREUS organises a dedicated Info-Session focused on the Global Action on Space initiative (link<\/a>) on Thursday 3 February (12:45 PM \u2013 1:30 PM CET). Registration is mandatory (link<\/a>). This initiative very relevant for the space enterprises, clusters, networks and aerospace districts in its network.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The initiative started end of last year and launched its\u00a0first calls<\/a>\u00a0on 01. December 2022. In the nutshell, the initiative is about commercialising and promoting European space expertise and products outside Europe.<\/p>\n

One of the calls is addressed to European SME and the other call to entities outside Europe.<\/strong>\u00a0European SME are supported with their endeavour to do business outside Europe in different respects, education, matchmaking, business coaching, space diplomacy (i.e., outreach, meetings and events), market intelligence.\u00a0The call is open for 24 months with the ultimate deadline on 30 November 2023. Then every three months they will have cut-off-dates<\/strong>\u00a0(-\u00a0 First cut-off date: 28.02.2022 \u2013 11:59 AM CET, Second cut-off date: 31.05.2022 \u2013 11:59 AM CEST, Third cut-off date: 31.08.2022 \u2013 11:59 AM CEST etc.).<\/p>\n

The\u00a0EU Global Action on Space\u00a0<\/strong>is a new initiative of the European Commission\u2019s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS), financed through the Foreign Partnership Instrument. It aims at globally promoting\u00a0<\/em>the socio-economic benefits that\u00a0<\/em>the EU Space Programme and its flagship components, Copernicus, Galileo and EGNOS have\u00a0to offer. Moreover, it would increase\u00a0cooperation, push forward digitalisation.\u00a0NEREUS is a subcontractor of the successful consortium led by AZO (link<\/a>)<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
