This webinar is being jointly organised by ADS Group, UK Defence & Security Exports<\/a> at the Department for Business and Trade, and the Pakistan High Commission in London<\/a>, as part of a short series of information webinars on a number of prospective markets around the world, to promote greater awareness of the potential commercial opportunities there are for UK firms to do business there predominantly in the defence and security sectors.<\/p>\n

It will be focused on the Pakistani defence and security markets and is linked to efforts to gauge the level of potential UK Industry interest in participating at the biennial International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024<\/a> exhibition, which is due to be taking place in Karachi on 19 \u2013 22 November 2024.\u00a0Details of how IDEAS has grown since its inception back in 2000 can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The intent behind IDEAS is to foster a platform for the local defence industry, government, military, and science representatives to meet and exchange ideas on defence innovations and to facilitate regional and international defence industry cooperation that helps to accelerate the development of local and regional defence ecosystems.<\/p>\n

This webinar will enable UK firms to identify what the potential defence and security business opportunities might be for them to do business with Pakistan, as well as how the Pakistani Government can assist them to identify the all-important reliable local industrial partners that they will need to be successful in their efforts to do business there.\u00a0<\/p>\n
