In doing so, we hope to help the sector understand current government thinking and ensure our members have the opportunity to engage directly with officials from Department for Business &amp; Trade (DBT), Department for Science, Innovation &amp; Technology (DSIT) and Ministry of Defence (MoD).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It is well understood that space underpins at least \u00a3364bn UK GDP \u2013 and is a key enabler of economic growth across the sectors identified in the Green Paper with a particularly strong presence in Advanced Manufacturing, Defence, and Digital and Technology. We welcome this opportunity as a reflection of our sector\u2019s strategic importance at the heart of the UK\u2019s prosperity and national security. The Green Paper consultation closes on <strong>24 November 2024<\/strong>, and HMG officials are keen to offer insight into this process.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Register your interest<\/h3>\n<p>This co-moderated event will take place both in-person (limited capacity,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/url.uk.m.mimecastprotect.com\/s\/KYeCCW7E4fjVl88fKi1FoK4w-?domain=forms.office.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">please complete this EoI to confirm interest<\/a><\/strong>) and online, with opportunities to feed in questions remotely.
