The session is part of <\/span>a series <\/span>that introduces the participants to the dimension of space<\/span> technologies<\/span> for <\/span>different application domains. This session focuses on <\/span><\/span>Space4Health<\/span><\/span> and wants to highlight the opportunities of space-based services and products but also <\/span>identify<\/span> needs of the regional\/local level in th<\/span>e health sector<\/span>.<\/span> Bearing in mind that public health and the environment <\/span>are <\/span>closely linked<\/span>, <\/span>Earth Observation (EO)<\/span> and satellite-based services<\/span> provide data <\/span>and <\/span>tool<\/span>s<\/span> in helping us understand, track, and predict diseases<\/span> and public health developments<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ECMWF is going to introduce the <\/span>Copernicus Health Hub<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/a> and present some its activities. The hub is <\/span>a new tool to help the health sector better leverage all the Earth Observation data, information, products and services (from the six Copernicus Services and the Copernicus Space Component) that can be relevant for their work, activities or interests.\u202f The spectrum covers all health-related topics, including physical health, mental health and well-being. The Hub supports users to better exploit and use this information by providing access to catalogues, supporting documentation and inspirational use case stories.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
