Through t<\/strong>he European Assistance for Innovation Procurement (EAFIP) initiative, <\/a><\/strong>the European Commission supports public procurers (including contracting entities in the utilities and security sector) in developing and implementing more and better innovation procurements of ICT based solutions across the EU.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\nIn addition, you can subscribe to the <\/strong>webinar on \u201cEvaluation and testing: tools and methodologies\u201d (link<\/a>). <\/strong>This is a 1,5-hour webinar workshop for European public buyers, suppliers and policy makers\u00a0about good practices regarding evaluation and testing tools and methodologies in the context of Innovation Procurement.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s in for public administration<\/strong><\/p>\n

The EAFIP-initiative has been relaunched for a new period. During this edition:<\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0new calls to apply for assistance will be launched every 3 months<\/strong>,
\n\u2013\u00a0assistance<\/strong>\u00a0will be provided to newly selected projects, and
\n\u2013\u00a0webinars & workshops<\/strong>\u00a0will be organised on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

The aim of the EAFIP-initiative is to promote good practices and reinforce the evidence base on completed innovation procurements across Europe; encourage other public procurers to start new PCP and PPI procurements, and boost the digital-green economy recovery through Innovation Procurement (PCP & PPI).<\/p>\n

Since the start in 2015 EAFIP organised\u00a012 successful events<\/strong>, created a\u00a0knowledge-packed toolkit<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a012 informative videos<\/strong>,
\nand provided\u00a0assistance to public procurers<\/strong>\u00a0in the development and implementation of their innovation procurement.
\nNo less than 21 innovation procurements of high impact ICT-related solutions were supported through EAFIP up to present.
\nAcross Europe, public procurers are able to move ahead with innovation procurements.<\/p>\n
