The \u2018NewSpace Economy Congress 2022<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u2019 is organised by the Ministry of the Vice-presidency, Digital Policies and Territory, and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, and aims to showcase the capabilities of the NewSpace sector to companies willing and able to apply them.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Under the concept \u2018Let\u2019s turn Barcelona into the centre of the new space economy<\/strong>\u2018, the aim of the meeting is the creation and development of a business environment focused on the New Space economy and an entrepreneurial approach to its applications, the fostering of the local ecosystem and promotion of its networking, and the business generation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The conference is aimed at the Catalan NewSpace community, companies in the space sector in Spain and Europe, entities investing in space projects, public administrations, and researchers and students related to the space sector, as well as entities related to other digital technologies. Catalonia region is a NEREUS full member (link<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

The congress counts on the collaboration of the IEEC, the Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA), the i2CAT Foundation, the Institut Cartogr\u00e0fic i Geol\u00f2gic de Catalunya (ICGC), the KIMbcn Foundation, the International Space University (ISU) and the Barcelona representation of the organisation Women in Aerospace Europe (WiA Europe \u2013 BCN).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
