The Meet the Buyer event at Advanced Engineering has enabled suppliers to meet with companies that are actively seeking capabilities, engage with the right people within the procurement and supply chain functions, and to connect with companies outside of their primary sectors.<\/p>\n<h3>Market Insights<\/h3>\n<p>The UK is a global hub for advanced manufacturing. The Government\u2019s ambition is for the UK to be the best place in the world to start and grow a manufacturing business.<\/p>\n<p>The UK\u2019s Advanced Manufacturing Plan was officially released by the Department for Business &amp; Trade in December 2023. It is a five-year plan designed to revitalise the country\u2019s industrial capacity and establish the groundwork for sustained expansion.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/advanced-manufacturing-plan\/advanced-manufacturing-plan-html-version\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Advanced Manufacturing Plan<\/a><\/strong> outlines three main priorities for the government:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Targeting investment in the future of manufacturing in the UK<\/li>\n<li>Cooperating internationally to build supply chain resilience<\/li>\n<li>Reducing costs and barriers to boost competitiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aerospace is a key part of the plan with \u00a3975 million being made available for the aerospace sector to support the development of energy efficient and zero-carbon aircraft technology.<\/p>\n<h3>Benefits of exhibiting in the ADS Pavilion<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Full access to the ADS Pavilion.
