Europe is not only an economic union, but also a community of knowledge and innovation. The\u00a0NEREUS network (Network of European Regions Using Space Technologies<\/i>)<\/b>\u00a0offers European regions a platform to share expertise and knowledge, build partnerships at a European scale that extend the duration of projects, and mobilise EU and ESA-funded model projects, to quote just a few. These activities contribute to jointly advancing and spreading the use of space technologies and shape and strengthen regional ecosystems.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

For Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, this presents valuable opportunities \u2013 especially for the scientific landscape, research institutions, and the next generation of space professionals. On the one hand, NEREUS raises the visibility of the research and academic community and the capabilities of BW at a European level. On the other hand, NEREUS contributes to better linking the BW community with other European research and academic communities.\u00a0The BW scientific community would thus like to take this as an opportunity to reach out to NEREUS, introduce its stakeholders and launch a reflection on the benefits of European networks.<\/p>\n
