SC21 Competitiveness

Built on 18+ years of success, SC21 (Supply Chains for the 21st Century) focuses on improving competitiveness of the aerospace and defence sectors through supply chain performance, reducing lead times and improving quality through a structured programme of continuous improvement and business excellence. It is a best-in-class improvement programme and optimises the customer-supplier relationship for mutual benefit and in the best interests of the UK’s national prosperity.

It is the cornerstone of the Supply Chain Solutions Framework (SCS) facilitated by ADS and in partnership with the Regional Aerospace Associations. SCS delivers a comprehensive toolkit of services to support companies become more resilient to boost growth, quality and delivery performance. As well as enhancing operational effectiveness, SCS’ scope extends to improving digitalisation and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) sustainability maturity.

Aero Excellence

Through a structured four-step assessment process, companies can self-diagnose their maturity levels and develop targeted roadmaps for improvement. The benefits of participating include heightened operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, and cybersecurity robustness, all of which are validated and recognised by leading customers.
